30th January Broadband update
At the AGM some residents wanted a second opinion on the suggestion to go for Hyperoptic, so did the Freeholders. Freehold managers, Consort and SDSRA are looking into “Openreach” to provide the cabling (fiberoptic). They are trying out 6 areas in the country and Canary Wharf is one of them. They will attach the cable from the street to outside the flat for free, and then a “small” fee for the connection will be paid by the resident. Residents can then choose what provider to use, but not Virgin (we will confirm as soon as we have more information). We will get 100Mb now and 300Mb by the end of the year. More info to follow.
26th January Become a member of SDSRA
